Semiótica e Imagen es un trabajo de investigación lingüística que presenta el modelo de análisis de Halliday y Hasan (1990 y 1998) aplicado al texto literario Pezones Negros de la escritora venezolana Isbelia Sequera Tamayo. A través de este análisis se evidencian los estereotipos sociales, religiosos y sexuales que tradicionalmente se asocian a la mujer negra; con ello, se propone el análisis semiótico social del discurso literario como aproximación crítica a los textos narrativos.
