Frank Cho, born Duk Hyun Cho in 1971 in Seoul, South Korea, is a prominent American comic book illustrator and writer, known for his detailed style and ability to depict female figures with realistic anatomies. At the age of six, his family immigrated to the United States, settling in Beltsville, Maryland. Although he initially studied Nursing at the University of Maryland, his passion for drawing led him to pursue a career in comics professionally.

His most famous work is Liberty Meadows, a comic strip that debuted in 1997 and combines humor, satire, and anthropomorphic characters. The series was published in comic form by Image Comics and has been praised for its artistic style and cultural references. Additionally, Cho has worked on high-profile titles such as Shanna the She-Devil, Mighty Avengers, and Savage Wolverine for Marvel Comics, where his mastery of anatomical drawing and dynamic style have been widely recognized.

Throughout his career, Frank Cho has received several awards, including the Haxtur Award for Best Artist in 2006 and the Ringo Award for Best Cover Artist in 2017. His focus on the human figure and his distinctive style have established him as an influential figure in the comic book industry.
