Synopsis "Pan (in Spanish)"

One of the masterpieces of Hamsuns youth, Pan is an ode to the magical nature of the north of Norway, transformed into the setting for a love story. The young lieutenant Glahn, a complex human being who lives in a sort of pantheist union with the cosmos, remembers a summer spent in Nordland, when he lived in a shack in the middle of the natural landscape, just like the God Pan. But during one of his hunting trips the lieutenant comes across the androgynous Edvarda. From that moment they begin a passionate love story. Edvarda doesnt take her relationship with the lieutenant very seriously, and he becomes useless. He begins to use Eva, the servant, as his love slave. When Edvarda marries a baron, the catastrophe is triggered.
