Synopsis "Crying on Airplanes"

When twenty-two year old Blake Voss begins a career with Global Core Consulting, she has no idea that within the first few months she'll be whisked away to Mexico City. There, Blake begins her dream job-working on a high-profile merger between Pacific South and Grupo Merced. Blake is ready to work hard, but what her team hasn't anticipated is that they might be dealing with the dark underbelly of Mexican politics. The head of Grupo Merced-Tomas Barajas-is a man who is rumored to be connected with one of the cartels. When things start to go awry, Blake and her team are introduced to Gio-their new tall, dark, and handsome security guard. In addition to keeping the team safe, Gio serves as a nice distraction for Blake from the minutia of working on the merger. The more time Blake and Gio spend exploring Mexico City together the more the spark between them grows, but some of their interactions leave her thinking there is more to Gio than meets the eye. Is Blake really safe with Gio? His history with Grupo Merced is complicated and Blake finds herself wondering if she should prioritize her career, her safety, or her heart...
