Toshikazu Kawaguchi (Osaka, Japan, 1971) is an author and playwright known for his ability to blend magical realism and human sensitivity. Before turning to novels, he was a producer, director, and screenwriter for the Sonic Snail theater group, with notable works like COUPLE, Sunset Song, and Family Time.
