Synopsis "Bear's Den"

Bear's Den is the story of four friends that have a falling-out in the midst of their youth. As they grow apart, tensions rise between an accidental death, infidelity, and the murder of the woman responsible. Her husband, Tom, faces life in prison for her death as the police close the case and the prosecuting attorney views the circumstance as an easily closed case. Tom escapes prison and hunts down the man truly responsible, David. He captures his former friend and drives across the country to the mountains to clear his name. David soon escapes and kidnaps Tom's sister in an attempt to take Tom's daughter. The state take custody of Tom's daughter until the Aunt can be found. The police perform their investigation with no leads. The FBI send in their own investigator to solve the case and search for the possibility that Tom may be in the area. Tom's sister is taken to David's old cabin and, from the side of the mountain, is shown what Tom did to David's fiancé years ago. The unfortunate hero, Tom, becomes the villain. David is shown as the anti-hero who wants his life and fiancé back. Tom finds their trail as does the FBI. In a raid, several agents are killed and Tom is mauled by a mountain lion just as he is about to shoot David to exact his revenge.
