Susan Sisko

Dr. Susan Sisko is an Australian academic specialized in counseling and psychotherapy. She currently serves as a professor at the University of Western Sydney and is a member of the Challenging Racism Project and the Diversity and Human Rights Research Centre at the same institution. Her academic background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Social Psychology, a Master's in Counseling Psychology, and a PhD.

Among her notable publications is the co-editing of the book Multicultural Responsiveness in Counselling and Psychology: Working with Australian Populations (2021), alongside Vicki Hutton. This work focuses on the importance of multicultural sensitivity in the practice of counseling and psychology in Australia, addressing systemic structures from a social justice perspective.
