Pablo Cohen
Pablo Cohen (Montevideo, 1983) attended elementary and high school at the French Lyceum, and studied Communication Sciences at ORT University. He worked at «O2», the entertainment section of El Observador, was the culture editor at Búsqueda, and has collaborated with some of the most important Spanish-speaking newspapers. He currently writes for El País, is a columnist for the Argentine newspaper Perfil, and is the journalistic manager of Tenfield and VTV. Throughout his career, he has interviewed more than nine hundred figures from the political, cultural, and sports fields, both nationally and internationally.
Among his notable titles are Los dichos del contador (2019), about José Pedro Damiani; Todo un país detrás (2021), on the task of the gach during the pandemic; and Habla Julio (2021), based on a series of interviews with former president Sanguinetti; all of which have been extraordinary sales successes. More recently, he published El hambre y la gloria (2022), about the figure of Carlos Pato Aguilera; Mevir. Una historia hablada (2023) and Diálogos en espejo (2023).
