With a distinguished career in investigative journalism, he has served as a correspondent in Washington for La FM and Noticias RCN, as well as managing Teleantioquia Noticias. His experience spans media outlets such as La FM, La W, Caracol Radio, and Vorágine, establishing himself as a critical and rigorous voice in the field. He is currently at the helm of CasaMacondo

His commitment to teaching has led him to train new generations of journalists at universities such as Antioquia, Pontificia Bolivariana, Eafit, Santo Tomás, and Politécnico Grancolombiano

Throughout his career, he has been recognized with the Simón Bolívar National Journalism Award on three occasions: in 2018 for the best radio investigation with "Dejad que los niños vengan a mí"; in 2020 for the best radio news with "No son 19, son 36 los sacerdotes involucrados en escándalo sexual en Villavicencio"; and in 2022 for the best radio investigation with "La playa pública que terminó en manos del esposo de la vicepresidenta"

As an author, he has published the books Dejad que los niños vengan a mí (2019) and Este es el cordero de Dios (2021), works that reflect his commitment to the truth and his courage to tackle uncomfortable subjects with depth and rigor
