E. B. Hudspeth
E.B. Hudspeth is an American writer and artist with a diverse background in visual arts. He grew up in Colorado and lived in various states across the United States, working for nearly a decade as a snow and ice sculptor. His passion for the arts led him to travel around the country and, eventually, to Pietrasanta, Italy, where he dedicated himself to marble sculpture.
During his stay in Italy, Hudspeth began to develop anatomical designs of imaginary beings, which culminated in his most recognized work: The Resurrectionist (2013). This book, which combines elements of horror and fantasy, presents the supposed biography of Dr. Spencer Black, a fictional 19th-century surgeon obsessed with mythological creatures.
