Square and Circle are two endearing characters created by Argentine artist María Villalba, known on social networks as "Maivira". These geometric figures, a red square and a blue circle, became a viral phenomenon for their ability to represent, with simplicity and tenderness, individual differences and the importance of empathy and acceptance.
The story, popularized initially through a short animation and later adapted to an illustrated book, narrates how Circle arrives in a community of squares, facing exclusion for not fitting into the mold both literally and symbolically.
