Carlos Javier González Serrano (Madrid, 1985) is a professor of Philosophy and Psychology and a high school counselor. With a degree in Philosophy, he has pursued master's degrees in clinical psychology, child and adolescent psychotherapy, work and organizational psychology, advanced studies in philosophy, pedagogy, and education. He is a columnist in various important written media and a regular contributor on radio and television. He directs the successful podcast A la luz del pensar (RNE) and the section "El lugar que piensa" on "Para Todos La 2" of Spanish Television. He collaborates frequently with national and international universities and is the scientific director of the Social Observatory Café of the "La Caixa" Foundation. He is president of the Society of Studies in Spanish on Schopenhauer and an honorary member of the Ibero-American Society of Studies on Pessimism. He is also the author of the children's philosophical stories book El mundo según Lea and translator and editor of various volumes.
