Synopsis "You Can't Get There From Here: A Sara Jennings Novel"

Life offers many choices. Decisions made on each personal journey are sometimes questioned and alternative outcomes imagined had a different path been followed. However, it is understood...You Can't Get There From Here.Sara Jennings loved her cherished cottage by the sea, spending the days tending the garden, walking the dunes, and visiting her friends. But times change, and at eighty-plus years old she finds herself beginning a whole new life in the retirement community of Parliament Square where she is supervised, observed, fussed over . . . everything that Sara could live without. Is this the way life ends after so many years of joy and struggle and striving and living? But at Parliament Square, Sara may find more than she expects: new adventures, colorful characters, rekindled friendships, revived passions, and perhaps even love. As she opens her heart and mind to a bold and challenging new chapter, why is she haunted by vivid, mysterious visions of what her life could have been if different choices had been made? As Sara's psyche revisits past life decisions - both real and possible-her mind and body walk the road that leads to tomorrow-and that road takes her directly to Parliament Square. You Can't Get There From Here is the first volume of an exciting new series. Follow the continuing story of Sara Jennings and her extraordinary friends in future Parliament Square books which will be available from your favorite bookstore or online bookseller.
