Synopsis "Via Crucis (Bolsillo, Rústica, Color) (in Spanish)"

San Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer (1902-1975) was a Spanish priest, founder of Opus Dei, and prolific writer in the field of Christian spirituality. His works address themes of faith, Christian life, and holiness in everyday life. His most famous book, The Way (1939), has been translated into multiple languages and has influenced millions of people in their spiritual growth. Other notable works include Furrow (1986) and Forge (1987), which were published posthumously and continue his teaching on the pursuit of holiness in daily life.

Escrivá's style combines deep theological reflection with accessible language, aimed at both laypeople and religious. His writings have been fundamental in the expansion of Opus Dei and in promoting the sanctification of ordinary work as a path to God. His legacy remains relevant in contemporary spirituality.
