Ming Doyle is an American comic book illustrator and writer born in Boston in 1984. Raised by an Irish-American sailor and a Chinese-Canadian librarian, Doyle developed an interest in visual arts from an early age. In 2007, she earned her BFA in painting and drawing from Cornell University.

Her professional career took off with works in anthologies like Jennifer’s Body (BOOM! Studios) and Popgun (Image Comics). Over the years, she has worked with publishers such as Marvel, DC, Image, Valiant, Dark Horse, and Tokyopop. Among her most notable projects are Constantine: The Hellblazer (DC Comics), The Kitchen (Vertigo), Mara (Image Comics), and Anatomy of a Metahuman (Insight Editions).

In addition to her work as an illustrator, Doyle has co-written and drawn comics, displaying a narrative approach that blends the fantastic with the realistic. She is known for her expressive and detailed style, which has been praised for its ability to convey emotions and depth in her characters.

In her personal life, Ming Doyle is married to musician Neil Cicierega, known for his project Lemon Demon. Together they have a daughter named Darcy, born in March 2018.
