Synopsis "turquoise waters"

After his wife is brutally murdered in an undercover drug sting, FBI agent Sean Tripp takes time off to fight through his grief. His sanctuary is disturbed when he's asked to join the search for a local boy who comes up missing. Tripp figures the case will be a simple matter to resolve, but instead finds himself caught up in a maelstrom of international intrigue. His investigations lead him into the deadly political minefield of Castro's Cuba, and he must navigate through perils that include the boy's murderous kidnappers, a killer hurricane, a daring prison escape, and a dangerous deep-sea search for sunken treasure. Tripp's search carries him from Monterey, California to New York City, from Miami to Rio, and then to the seven mile beach of the Caymans, finally ending in a face to face confrontation with the same sinister cut-throats who had murdered his wife.
