Michael Lawrence Fleisher fue un guionista y editor estadounidense nacido en 1942 y fallecido en 2018, reconocido por su estilo oscuro, violento y psicológico que marcó una época en los cómics de los años setenta y ochenta. Antes de dedicarse por completo al guion, estudió antropología y trabajó en la industria editorial, experiencia que influyó en su obsesión por explorar los límites morales de la humanidad y la justicia.
