Synopsis "The Next Chapter"

Aging and retirement are major milestones in people's lives. Having retired in 2022, and having turned sixty-seven years old, Jeff Luce is in the midst of these two life forces, and it has been traumatic, fun, exciting, and a learning experience. Aging and retirement most often run in parallel, and now, he has collected his thoughts into one book, a book of conversational tone and approach where he shares stories with a friend (you!) about his experiences. You will laugh, cry, learn, and think about your own situation as you travel through The Next Chapter. About the Author Jeff Luce is a sixty-seven-year-old retiree. He holds his BS in pharmacy from Purdue University and Doctor of Pharmacy from Campbell University. Prior to his retirement, he spent ten years as an orthopedic surgery consultant, then worked over twenty-five years in various roles in health outcomes research that led to a life of travel and participating in fun and interesting events. Now, he and his wife enjoy marking off travel destinations and seeing their grandchildren as much as possible. They reside in the beautiful mountains outside of Asheville, North Carolina, admiring the brilliant view from their window every morning.
