Magically, by invoking the phrase Ang Aking Espiritu Ay Filipino, he is no longer bound by time or space--and is transported to a Filipino world where the Lola, as the guardian of tradition, folklore, and superstition, imparts to him what it means to be Pinoy.As the good-natured tension between student and teacher mounts with the Kano's juvenile tendencies, the Teacher begins to wonder if the Kano has what it takes.
