This story is also about this young girl's deepening relationship over time with these Brown Crested Flycatchers. She narrates the unique behaviors they exhibit towards her and the special relationships they have with each other. Although this story was especially written for children and young adults, it will endear any reader who reads about these birds, young or old alike. This book was written as an inspiration to all those who love wild birds.
