Synopsis "The Deity of The Lord Jesus Christ: The Godman"

The foundation of our Christian faith is the identity of Jesus Christ. We are told that he walked the earth as a good teacher who performed miracles, that he was a good man who didn't believe in violence and accepted whatever anyone did under the auspices of love, or that he didn't exist at all. "The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ: The Godman" is a Bible study containing a total of seven lessons to explore the truth that Jesus Christ is really God, Who came in the flesh to die on a cross for our sins, and that when believing this truth we will have eternal life. The first lesson deals with principles and methods for studying the Bible to assist the beginning student in various approaches to Bible study. The remaining six lessons are presented in a format that encourages the student to study independently. Scriptures are examined using a Bible and a concordance as the basic tools required for this study. Each lesson is divided into five days. Four days are for studying the Scriptures and answering questions. There are word meanings to look up, followed by the question "What does this Scripture mean to you?", as well as other germane questions at a level for those students who are just starting to participate in a Bible study. There is a section entitled "Stepping Further," providing for more advanced study, intermittently placed during the four days each week. This section issues a challenge to students who want to dig deeper into studying God's Word. A section called "Author Commentary" is presented on the fifth day of each lesson, providing insight and teaching by the author. The purpose of this weekly format is to motivate the student to independently scrutinize each one of the twenty-five Scriptures to be studied, investigate the meanings, and write the conclusions down prior to reading the "Author Commentary" section. Spaces are provided for writing answers to the questions, comments about the Scriptures, and in a section called "Gleanings" at the end of each chapter. There is a sequential list of all the Scriptures to be studied at the beginning of the book. The author's first book, "On the Way to Heaven: A Christian's Individual Road Map" is referenced three times in this Bible-study book for clarification, and you are encouraged to obtain the book to facilitate your delving into God's Word.
