This covenant was powerless to make a person holy through the forgiveness of sin, but the Lord Jesus Christ through His shed blood is all sufficient and complete. Those that cling to the old system relying on it to get them to heaven are doomed to failure. The writer to his fellow Hebrews is plain. Christ's sacrifice is all sufficient and complete.
