Synopsis "The Artists of Morvita"

In his loneliness and despair while alone on Morvita, the home of an artist colony, while the Curie undergoes emergency repairs, Chaplain Craig Lea inadvertently discovers a key to the Morvitans' belief system. But he has no idea what he did. After months of searching and study of the culture, he begins to see shadow people at night and gifts suddenly begin to appear on the digs' labs' doorsteps. As the Curie returns and the dig gets down to business, a whole new culture is discovered with surprises and anguishes all of its own.
