70 hours later, lunar orbit was reached by Hairy Pig and company. After 20 lunar orbits to slow down the spacecraft to the precise speed, Karen approached the small asteroid on time. Karen called out into Sheril's helmet, "Sheril, MU, you are up."The hatch above the right seat opened with a command from Marilyn. Hairy Pig/Tan-ha hooked the tether to the ring on the outside of the spacecraft near the hatch before moving out of the spacecraft over Marilyn's seat. Sheril appeared next to hook two gated rings attached to the front of her spacesuit onto the tether. MU slowly moved out. Its front arms and hands grabbed the tether.Hairy Pig: [Lyllia, attach MU's rings to the tether.]Henry: [MU, calm down.]MU: [I am frightened out of my circuits.]Hairy Pig: [MU, turn off all of your video feeds. There is no need to overwhelm your programming with extraneous data input. Now turn on the two forward in your head. Look at Sheril's orange helmet. You have the antenna array, come along.]Sheril was looking at Mother Earth on the way to the little asteroid. She gushed, "The Mother Earth is beautiful. The ice makes the blue and green just pop out. MU, come along. I need you now."Tan-ha/Hairy Pig fastened the piton on the end of the tether to the target area on the asteroid with nano rock paste. Karen closely watched her ship's attitude in relation to the asteroid so she did not tug the tether hard enough to cause the small rock to change its orbit. The three explorers outside the ship moved along the line to the asteroid. All MU had to do was stay still on the tether while Sheril removed the equipment. Tan-ha/Hairy Pig paid out the tether as soon as their android was secure on the asteroid.Sheril quickly installed the antennae packages. "Tower, Engineer Isaac. The antenna array is installed. I am waiting for your confirmation.""Engineer, tower. We have a successful link with the asteroid's Council of Elders. Good job. How is your MU doing?"Sheril replied, "Tower, MU is coping. MU, talk to the tower."MU chirped, "Tower, MU here. I am fine.""MU, tower, good job."
