Synopsis "Sandman Vol. 11: Endless Nights 30Th Anniversary Edition "

Alternately haunting, bittersweet, erotic and nightmarish, the seven stories in this book--one for each of the Endless siblings, each illustrated by one of the best artists in comics--reveal strange secrets and surprising truths. Now collected as the eleventh volume in Neil Gaiman's seminal, New York Times best-selling series, The Sandman Vol. 11: Endless Nights, celebrates its 30th anniversary with an all-new edition! One of the most popular and critically acclaimed graphic novels of all time, Neil Gaiman's award-winning masterpiece The Sandman set the standard for mature, lyrical fantasy in the modern comics era. Illustrated by an exemplary selection of the medium's most gifted artists, the series is a rich blend of modern and ancient mythology in which contemporary fiction, historical drama, and legend are seamlessly interwoven. Endless Nights returns to the realm of the Dreaming with seven remarkable stories--one for each member of the otherworldly Endless family'--illustrated by an international roster of artists drawn from the ranks of comics' greatest talents. By turns haunting, bittersweet, erotic, and nightmarish, these provocative tales range across space and time to reveal strange secrets and surprising truths about the immortal siblings Death, Desire, Delirium, Dream, Despair, Destruction, and Destiny.

Neil Gaiman (Portchester, England, 1960) is one of the most influential and versatile writers in contemporary literature, known for transforming the fantasy genre with his unique imagination and fresh approach to narrative. From a young age, Gaiman showed an intense passion for reading, devouring everything from Tolkien and C.S. Lewis classics to comics, which marked his creative path.

Gaiman began his career as a journalist and was decisively influenced by his encounter with screenwriter Alan Moore, which led him to write comics alongside artist Dave McKean, with whom he created the graphic novel Violent Cases. Later, he was hired by DC Comics to reimagine Sandman, turning a secondary character into a masterpiece of adult comics. He has also collaborated with Terry Pratchett on the novel Good Omens (1990) and has worked as a screenwriter on series like Doctor Who.

Winner of prestigious awards such as the Hugo, Nebula, Bram Stoker, and Locus, and a member of the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame, Neil Gaiman is a versatile author who combines mythology, fantasy, and a unique narrative style, achieving a lasting impact both in literature and popular culture.
