Synopsis "Rock'n'Roll Decontrol: A Punk Pic and Flyer Collection"

Rock'n'Roll Decontrol is a huge collection of Do-It-Yourself punk flyers and photographs by noted punk author and musician David Ensminger that spans thirty years of underground music. Ensminger was the editor for Left of the Dial; currently a writer for Razorcake, Trust, Maximum Rocknroll, and many other zines; and the author of such books as Visual Vitriol (Univ. Press of Mississippi), The Politics of Punk (Rowman and Littlefield), and Left of the Dial (PM Press), Punk Women (Left of the Dial), and Out of the Basement (Microcosm Press). This first volume contains overs 100 pages of photos (as well as flyers hand-made by the author) from the 1980s-2010s, including an array of vital, blistering, and electrifying bands both global and local, including SNFU, Bad Religion, Against Me!, MDC, Agent Orange, 7 Seconds, Snapcase, the Freeze, TSOL, Suicidal Tendencies, Off! and dozens more. It captures their unstoppable spirit, sheer energy, and visionary rebellion.
