Clare has never fit in anywhere. She was never close to her family, and she doesn't make friends easily. Even so, she gets the opportunity of a lifetime when she's hired three months out of college to work for the prestigious Burnheart's Travel Agency. The job is a perfect fit, even if her coworkers drive her nuts. She finds solace in her friend Carmen, who always knows how to make her laugh when life gets tough--but life is about go get a lot tougher. One of her coworkers, Kevin, seems to be stealing Clare's clients. Even stranger, Clare begins finding suspicious notecards around the travel agency office, bearing words like "murder" and "drown." Clare soon stumbles upon a horrible secret within her workplace. She accidentally involves Carmen, and soon the two women find themselves being hunted around the world. Can they really take down a company like Burnheart's, or will Clare and Carmen end up the newest victims in a chain of mysterious missing persons? Trying to put the pieces back together, Clare enlists the help of her best friend, Carmen, and the two girls wind up in a fight for their lives.
