Synopsis "Quique Hache, detective.

Gonzalo Martínez (Santiago, Chile, 1961) is a prominent Chilean illustrator and comic artist. He is an architect from the University of Chile and, since 2004, has dedicated himself exclusively to creating comics, his lifelong passion. His works have been published in Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, the United States, and New Zealand.

One of his most famous collaborations is with writer Sergio Gómez in the series Quique Hache, detective. In The Mystery of Santiago (2015), Gonzalo Martínez took charge of the illustration, bringing to life the adventures of Quique Hache, a young detective who, during his vacations, works as a guide at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Santiago. There, along with his partner Talita, he investigates the theft of a valuable artwork, unraveling a hidden love story behind the crime.

In addition to his work on Quique Hache, Gonzalo Martínez has illustrated other graphic novels such as Mocha Dick: The Legend of the White Whale (2012), written by Francisco Ortega, and Temple. Teyuna, the green hell (2020), with a script by Alfredo Rodríguez. His style is inspired by authors like Hergé and Hugo Pratt, and his work has been recognized for its narrative and graphic quality.
