Synopsis "Pinky Swear: Tragicomedic Psychodrama in Two Acts"

A short play; 3 characters. 1 male, 1 female, 1 other.Play summary/excerpt: A boring lonely man who lives in a fortress of solitude. He constantly turns away the person who comes to try and take him out of it. A realistic tragicomedy outlining the ironic humour of the human condition; internal flaws be they real or imaginary push or pull us. Well, the situation would be tragic, if the main character wasn't such a unrelatable misanthrope. No good. Not funny, either honestly. Short realistic dialogue back and forth. Nothing happens for the first three quarters of the play either. All the action is in the subtext. Two swimmers, circling each other, and both not waving but drowning.
