¡Por fin vuelve la querida Paradise Kiss! Una de las series más pedidas entre las ya publicadas a lo largo de la prehistoria de Ivrea, vuelve a demostrar que sigue tan vigente como entonces.

Yukari Hayasaka es una adolescente cuya única motivación es matarse estudiando para conseguir entrar en una buena universidad y hacer feliz a sus padres. Pero todo cambia el día que se cruza con George, un atractivo y excéntrico chico que se dedica a diseñar ropa.

George lidera “Paradise Kiss”, un grupo muy particular que se dedica a la moda y está compuesto por estudiantes del Instituto de Arte Yazawa. Tienen la idea fija de que Yukari sea su modelo y no aceptan un "no" como respuesta. Su contacto con ellos abrirá los ojos de Yukari a un nuevo mundo y marcará un giro radical a su vida.

La obra se serializó entre los años 1999 y 2003 en la revista Zipper (que vale decir que no es de publicación de manga sino de moda). Contó también con un popular anime de 12 capítulos y una película live action.

Ai Yazawa, born in 1967 in Osaka, Japan, is a prominent mangaka known for her works aimed at the female audience, especially in the shōjo and josei genres. At 17, she began her career by publishing in the Ribon magazine, and her training in fashion design is reflected in her stories, where fashion and interpersonal relationships are central themes.

Among her most notable works are "I'm Not an Angel" (1991-1995), "Neighborhood Story" (1995-1998), "Paradise Kiss" (1999-2003), and "NANA" (2000-2009), all in the shōjo or josei genre. "NANA" received adaptations to anime and film, establishing itself as one of the most influential series of its time.
