Synopsis "Onyx"

Just as the sun rises I had to write this. Fulfilling like coffee. These words describe a risqué and provocative perspective on several themes. A vivid literary piece depicting graphic details in experimental fashion. A youthful odyssey which addresses themes pertinent to the impassioned lover. A sincere depiction of the fluidity of love, the delusion that the feelings will fail to evaporate and the isolation in which most of us overcome. Onyx is the manifestation of the transformation of negative experiences into positive energy. Tints of sadomasochism and how that translates to ones self perception and the inverse. Tim-bits of ideological nationalism and motifs addressing introspection melded to present the feature work. A pioneering chapbook intended to arouse and incite diversity in the next generation of St. Lucian writer.
