Synopsis "No Ordinary Life"

If you are looking for a cookie-cutter read, keep looking. No Ordinary Life is no ordinary book. No one is murdered or kidnapped or shipwrecked. There is plenty of drama, thought, and emotion as you follow Betts, a British business woman who unfolds the life story of a contemporary expat Filipina named Elvie. While Betts is searching for the plot and meaning of Elvie's life, she learns that life has no plot and that is the point of Elvie's story. In the process, Betts discovers interesting revelations about her own direction and all of us living in this era of globalization. No Ordinary Life offers readers a thoroughly satisfying and well-delivered ending.
