Synopsis "NO DEJES ENTRAR AL BOSQUE (in Spanish)"

Ahora que han regresado a la Academia Wickwood y su hermana melliza parece evitarlo, Andrew Perrault se ha vuelto más cercano a Thomas Rye, el chico al que le escribe historias, el que siempre tiene las manos manchadas de tinta, el del cabello con el color de las hojas en otoño. Pero algo está ocurriendo con su amigo: sus padres han desaparecido, se halló sangre en su manga y ha perdido el interés en el macabro arte con el que ilustra las historias de Andrew. Lo más extraño es que algo parece perseguirlo… Cuando una noche, desesperado por comprender qué le ocurre, Andrew sigue a Thomas al bosque, lo descubre peleando con un monstruo de pesadilla. Uno que él mismo ha dibujado y está matando a todos sus seres queridos. Para evitar el exterminio, los chicos deciden combatir a las criaturas. Pero, a medida que la obsesión que tienen el uno con el otro crece, también lo hacen los monstruos, y Andrew comienza a sospechar que la única forma de terminar con todo es… destruir a su creador.

C.G. Drews is an Australian author known for her contemporary young adult novels with touches of psychological drama. She has been noted for portraying intense and emotionally complex characters. Her work has been recognized by critics, receiving an honor mention from the CBCA (Children’s Book Council of Australia) in 2020, and was nominated for the CILIP Carnegie Medal that same year.

Among her most notable titles are A Thousand Perfect Notes (2018), The Boy Who Steals Houses (2019) and Don’t Let the Forest In (2024). The latter was a finalist in the Goodreads Choice Awards and selected by the Junior Library Guild. So far, no Spanish translations of her works have been published.
