Sue and Bob Windsor leave the USA to follow what they believe to be God's mission for them during the last few years on planet Earth as we know it. From Jerusalem, they send news-letters home to family and friends describing catastrophic events, prophesied for over three thousand years. "News from the Holy Land presents a realistic and groundbreaking account, in a fictional sense, of what believers and non-believers can expect as Jesus' return draws near. Sue's mission . . . is a strong component to the story, heightening the urgency of what is transpiring currently" (Manuscript Review, Xulon). The novel is divided into two parts. In part one, the horror of the catastrophic events happening worldwide and the intrigue of the rise to power of the sinister "Beast" draw the reader into the story. Part two, on the other hand, will reveal the reader's future: will he/she be thrilled or filled with terror and trembling? Author, Kay Whidbee Sherwood, a retired teacher, lives with her husband in a small town, Ellaville, Georgia. A mother and grandmother, Kay writes from her heart about characters you may think you know. The novel, News from the Holy Land is her second book, a fictional illustration of her first book, Red Moon Black Sun: A Modern Day Explanation of the End-Times, non-fiction. The story reveals how the events of the end-times affect one group of family and friends.
