Synopsis "My Peaceful Place - Large Print Edition: A collection of stories and images to comfort and heal"

Research shows that the healing effects of natural scenes are increasingly being understood as helpful in stressful environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, and even remote military sites. Apparently, it is not necessary to actually experience nature; simply looking at it even remotely, provides a calming effect. Pairing those images with comforting stories, compounds the healing effects. Within My Peaceful Place you will find naturally restful pictures and ten very satisfying stories that go with those images. Some of the relaxing pictures are of my own paintings. Others are photographs that illustrate the stories. Each story is unique, but always has a "happy" ending, even though I have given the characters some obstacles to overcome. The stories and pictures are non-denominational and appropriate for all ages, genders, and cultures.
