Synopsis "Mission a Berlin Lettres a Jean III Bernoulli Et a Elert Bode (in French)"

English summary: Jerome Lalande was the quintessential astronomer of the Enlightenment. This collection of his correspondence traces his erudite and friendly relations with other astronomers such as Leonhard Euler and his son Albrecht, Jean Bernoulli, and Elert Bode. Also included are three treatises by Lalande on the distance between the Earth and the Moon, between the Earth and the Sun, and the mapping of the sky.
