Synopsis "Memoirs of Shattered Silence "

Memoirs of Shattered Silence lets readers read the pages ripped from Simmons’ heart. He provides a simple book of poetry derived from complex thoughts. Simmons’ third book showcases simple literary techniques and still conveys his impeccable wordplay and complex meanings. As short as the poems are, they are developed with deep thought. Martez C. Simmons allows readers to understand his struggles with himself mentally, emotionally, and physically while also portraying struggles with friends, family, success, and acceptance. While letting the words on paper speak for himself, he recalls his experiences simply through Memoirs of Shattered Silence.
