Carl Linnaeus (1707–1778) was one of the world’s most influential practitioners of science. This book presents essays on Linnaeus and the Linnaeans written by leading scholars of science and book history. Linnaean Medicine, Collections, and Empire also includes a catalogue of the Linnaean manuscripts in the Hagströmer Library, Karolinska Institutet. As an aid to researchers and students the book provides links to online versions of these manuscripts.
