The collection includes all the poems that earned the poet the Guyana Prize for Literature for the First Book of Poetry.About AuthorDennis Craig was a Guyanese by birth. A former Vice Chancellor of the University of Guyana, and Vice Dean at the University of the West Indies (Jamaica), he has published widely in the field of creole linguistics and education. This poetry book is his first major literary work for which he won the Guyana Prize for Literature in 1998.
