Synopsis "Last Hours of Ancient Sun: Rev "

While everything appears to be collapsing around us - ecodamage, genetic engineering, virulent diseases, the end of cheap oil, water shortages, global famine, wars - we can still do something about it and create a world that will work for us and for our children's children. The inspiration for Leonardo DiCaprio's feature documentary movie The Eleventh Hour and soon to be released HBO special Ice on Fire, Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight details what is happening to our planet, the reasons for our culture's blind behavior, and how we can fix the problem. Thom Hartmann's comprehensive book is one of the fundamental handbooks of the environmental activist movement. Now with fresh, updated material on our Earth's rapid climate change and a focus on political activism and its effect on corporate behavior, The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight helps us understand - and heal - our relationship to the world, to each other, and to our natural resources.

Neale Donald Walsch (Milwaukee, 1943) is an American novelist globally recognized for his best-selling series Conversations with God, translated into 37 languages and sold by millions of copies. After going through a deep personal and spiritual crisis, Walsch began in the early 90s a process of dialogue with God that led to his most emblematic books: Conversations with God (volumes I-III), Friendship with God, Communion with God, Tomorrow's God and What God Wants, among others. His work promotes a "new spirituality" that unifies beliefs and emphasizes that we are all one with God and with life.

Winner of great global recognition, several of his titles have been featured on the New York Times bestseller list, and in 2007 his book was adapted into a film with great impact. Walsch maintains that his texts are inspired by God, but are not tied to specific religious doctrines, inviting a personal and contemporary spiritual experience. He is also the founder of the spiritual movement "Humanity's Team", dedicated to expanding these new beliefs of unity and universal connection. He currently lives in Oregon and continues to spread his message of love, gratitude, and inner transformation.
