Synopsis "La Vaca (in Spanish)"

Monterroso converts any memory into a theme for a story. In "La vaca", the author filters daily experience until he obtains its essence. Through his talent for transforming life into a fable, he bestows on every creation the breath of simplicity with merciless and condescending humor, Once again and with sharp precision, Augusto Monterroso throws the darts of his wisdom in these twenty essays.
