Jules Feiffer (born January 26, 1929 in New York) is a renowned illustrator, cartoonist, screenwriter, and American author. His career began in the 1940s as an assistant to Will Eisner on the comic series The Spirit, where he developed his narrative and graphic skills. However, Feiffer gained international fame with his satirical comic strip Feiffer, first published in The Village Voice in 1956. With an expressive and minimalist graphic style, his strips addressed political, social, and psychological issues with sharp humor and biting criticism.

In 1986, he won the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartooning, consolidating his influence in the realm of political and literary comics. He has also ventured into film and theater, writing scripts like Carnal Knowledge (1971), directed by Mike Nichols, and several plays.

Additionally, Feiffer has been an author and illustrator of children's books, highlighting titles such as The Man in the Ceiling and Bark, George. His unique style and ability to combine text and drawing with emotional depth have made him a key figure in adult comics and American literary illustration.

Norton Juster (1929–2021) was an American writer, architect, and academic, best known for his work The Phantom Tollbooth (1961), a children's novel that has endured as a classic of youth literature

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Juster studied architecture at the University of Pennsylvania and urban planning at the University of Liverpool. During his service in the U.S. Navy in the 1950s, he worked on the construction of air bases in Morocco and Newfoundland. After completing his military service, he dedicated himself to architecture and teaching, and was a professor emeritus of design at Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts

In 1958, Juster received a grant from the Ford Foundation to write a book on urban planning. However, instead of following that path, he created The Phantom Tollbooth, an allegorical fantasy that explores themes of education, language, and curiosity through the adventures of a boy named Milo in the Kingdom of Wisdom. The work was illustrated by Jules Feiffer, who was also a close friend of Juster

Buen libro, aunque costoso siendo un libro de literatura infantil con ilustraciones a trazo y blanco y negro, el cual puede producirse de forma más económica.
