Thomas Carlyle (Thomas Carlyle, nacido el 4 de diciembre de 1795 en Ecclefechan, Escocia, y fallecido el 5 de febrero de 1881 en Londres) fue un ensayista, historiador y pensador clave de la era victoriana.
