But when an evil Scarecrow, Jack O'Lantern, brings all of the pumpkins to life, and tries to take over the kingdom, Hetty and Penelope know they have to help. Joined by their ghostly friends, Edmund, Gregory, and Dastardly Duncan, they all make a cunning plan to stop the naughty pumpkins, before its too late. This amusing chapter book is perfect for young readers aged 7 to 10 years (or any age!). It contains 12 amusing chapters and almost 100 black and white illustrations, making it perfect for newly independent or reluctant readers.
