Synopsis "Findings"

Set in the romantic landscape of Taormina, Sicily, at the turn of the century, an English widow still stuck in the mire of grief six years after her husband's death, seeks a holiday hoping to reignite her life with expectations of finding pleasant and maybe discrete adventures. Instead she finds herself embroiled in a train robbery, with an infamous bandit and an intriguing cast of characters chasing after a priceless treasure stolen from the Vatican. She embarks on her own quest to find the treasure and return it to the Queen of Italy. What else she finds leads Mary Huxley Granger towards a new and unexpected path for her life. The beautiful landscapes of Sicily, the sun and the sea, frame the story in an exhilarating and exciting allegory of the 1930s and '40s romantic adventure films reminiscent of Hollywood's greatest beloved fables.
