Destined to Meet is a contemporary romance novel by Devon Vaughn Archer, bestselling author of such passionate love stories as Aloha Fantasy, Christmas Heat, Kissing the Man Next Door, Pleasure in Hawaii, Private Luau, and To Find That Love Again. In Lake Barri, Colorado, bestselling children's book author Courtney Hudson didn't date, didn't go barhopping and definitely didn't do one-night stands. But when she decided to bust loose for one night, who would have guessed the beautiful young widow would end up in the bed of a sexy, good looking hunk from Alaska? Detective Lloyd Vance had moved to the lower forty-eight to escape a troubled past. And after a single, sizzling night of passion with Courtney, he knew he had made the right move. But then tragedy strikes, and Lloyd and Courtney get swept up in a twist of fate that threatens to destroy their burgeoning affair and all the wonderful possibilities it presents. Can love and lust keep this attractive couple going strong? Or does destiny have other plans? Included are excerpts of the author's bestselling novels, Kissing the Man Next Door and Love at the Sea Bluffs Lodge.
