Synopsis "Das Lehrgedicht des Karel van Mander: Text, Übersetzung und Kommentar Nebst Anhang Über Manders Geschichtskonstruktion und Kunsttheorie (in German)"

Karel van Mander (1548 - 1606), Dichter, Schriftsteller, Maler und Zeichner aus Westflandern, verfasste 1604 mit dem "Schilder-Boeck" sein bekanntestes Werk, dessen erster Teil das hier vorliegende "Lehrgedicht" bildet, "das sich an Malerlehrlinge richtet, allerdings keine Anleitungen zur Praxis des Malens bietet, sondern sich auf einem hohen literarischen Niveau mit den Grundlagen der Kunst befasst." (Wikipedia) Die Übertragung ins Deutsche besorgte Rudolf Hoecker. Nachdruck der deutschen Erstausgabe aus dem Jahr 1916.
