Cowhouse Creek Showdown - Col. R.C. Hartjen

The Civil War may have ended, but for Seth Horton, peace never made it home.

A decorated Union officer, Horton rode back to Texas expecting dust, hard work, and the familiar rhythm of ranch life. Instead, he finds silence. His family's land lies nearly abandoned, its livestock spread to the wind. His brothers are gone without a trace. And the town he once knew has fallen under the grip of a ruthless carpetbagger with secrets as dark as the war just fought.

Seth Horton didn't survive battlefields to surrender his home.

As villains push and tensions boil, Horton draws a line in the dirt. What follows is a reckoning that will pit good versus evil and set Cowhouse Creek ablaze with gunfire.

Because some men don't run from war ... they bring it with them.
