Synopsis "Core'ngrato: Duet for Tenor and Baritone and Small Ensemble (in Italian)"

Core'ngrato (Ungrateful Heart) or Catari, Catari one of the most recent of Neapolitan songs 1911 and the only one to be written in the United States. It was created with the great tenor Enrico Caruso in mind. Featured in movies like the "Godfather" and television series, "The Sopranos" it is pure beautiful Italian sentiment which can stand in its own right. American composer James Nathaniel Holland has arranged it for tenor in the key of Eb and small ensemble (string quartet and piano) with full score and parts and Italian vocal stylistic effects that will put authentic sentiment into your performance without being overdramatic. Use only the vocal piano part or add additional instruments as desired. Beautiful 1st violin solo in the introduction, can be interchanged with flute.
