Chip Zdarsky (pseudonym of Steve Murray) is a Canadian writer and illustrator who has made an indelible mark on the comic book industry. Known for his versatility and innovative approach, he has worked with publishers such as Marvel, DC, and Image Comics. Among his most notable works are Sex Criminals (2013–2020), co-created with Matt Fraction, which earned him the Eisner Award for Best New Series in 2014; Daredevil (2019–2021), a highly acclaimed run at Marvel; Spider-Man: Life Story (2019), which reimagines Peter Parker's life in real time; and Batman: The Knight (2022), a 10-issue miniseries that explores the origins of Bruce Wayne
